| Born in 1950 in South Hadley, Massachusetts, Mark Wilson Meunier still lives in the area and includes its fields, woods, and hills in some of his paintings. He was educated in studio art at Montgomery College (Maryland), and worked for several years with Daniel Mistrik. In his late twenties, he taught himself to work in egg tempera, and in 1978 made a transition from oils to this exacting medium. Egg tempera is ideal for Realism: it must be applied in very thin, almost tr (showing 500 of 1767 characters). |
