This biography from the Archives of AskART:
Martin Mull, a popular television actor, is also a painter. Mull, a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design had his first exhibition, "Flush to the Wall" in the men's bathroom at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.

Mull's oil paintings are of post war images reminiscent of Norman Rockwell. Mull, however, distorts the images leaving the viewer to question the value and meaning of the images.

Mull's work is in the permanent collections of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
