| Matie McLaren was born in San Francisco, CA on June 27, 1907. Matie was the granddaughter of John McLaren, developer of Golden Gate Park. She was a resident of San Francisco in the 1920s and 1930s and the wife of Joseph Daniels. Due to a brain tumor and mental illness, she was in and out of institutions during her lifetime. Mrs. Daniels died in Kentfield, CA on Aug. 30, 1967.
