The following is from August B. Miller Jr., grandson of the artist, who, along with others in Bristol Ferry, Rhode Island, is compiling the artist's Catalogue Raisonne. Submitted Febraury 2003

April 15, 1867 in Manhattan, New York; father August, mother Margarettia
Friebert. NYC Birth Certificate # 12049; Marriage Certificate, St. Paul's
Register #2, Portsmouth, RI; and Colorado National Guard Roster.

December 18, 1921 died at Butler Hospital, Providence, RI of Myocarditis,
Butler Hospital Record of December 19, 1921
Obit. Prov J. 12/19/21 Died Dec. 18th, Age 54 years, 8 months, 3 days

December 21, 1921 buried at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence, RI; minister
C. J. Harriman, St. Paul's Register #3 p114; Swan Point Cemetery Internment
