Born Topeka, June 22, 1906 and dying in Las Cruces, New Mexico June,
1976, Paul Mannen was a painter and teacher. He studied at the
University of Kansas, Lawrence, and received an MA from Ohio State
University in 1939.
Mannen lived in Lawrence from 1932-36.
His artwork was displayed when the renovated Lawrence Public Library reopened November 1937.
He became a professor of Art and head of the Art Department at Oklahoma
College for Women, Chickasha, (showing 500 of 1820 characters). |
