| Phillip Frederick Matzinger was born in Tiffin, OH in 1860. Matzinger studied at the AIC under John Vanderpoel. He was active in California from the mid-1920s while a resident of Fresno, Oakland, and Pasadena. He died in the latter on June 18, 1942.
