| Pierre Menager was born in Nantes, France on March 20, 1894. He is known for his landscape and seascape images of California and the Southwest done in watercolor and oils.
Menager was living and painting in Los Angeles, California during 1923-24. During that time he was a member of the Painters and Sculptors Club of Los Angeles. By 1927 he had settled in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He painted in that area until 1938 when he relocated to Tucson, Arizona.
Menager died in Hollywood, Florida in November of 1973.
