The following information was submitted by Robert Constant: Richard Martinez was born in Claremont, California in 1941. He is a graduate of Mt. San Antonio College, California State Los Angeles, and holds a Master of Arts degree from Claremont Graduate School. He also studied at Los Angeles Art Institute and the Pasadena Art Center. Martinez taught art at Claremont High School for 36 years and still lives in Claremont.
