| Robert J. Majors was born in Ottumwa, IA on May 23, 1913. Majors studied with Lawrence Murphy, Millard Sheets, Phil Dike, Stanton MacDonaldWright, and H. M. Luquiens. He was active in Los Angeles before sailing to Honolulu in 1936; by 1939 he had returned to Ontario, CA.
