ARTIST STATEMENTS
General: When I was twelve, I came across a small park where I found six life-size statues of scantily clad young women. They were so life-like and touchable I was stunned. They may be there yet, forever lovely.
Now I create my own sculptures in bronze. The learning process is never-ending. Along with mastering the materials, there is a slow understanding of anatomy that underlies the quickest tool stroke. The discipline of careful observation is so ingrained that (showing 500 of 2878 characters). |
