| Robert Tittle McKee was born in Stockton, CA on July 3, 1872. McKee studied at the Mark Hopkins Art Institute while in San Francisco in the 1890s. He died in Sarasota, FL on Feb. 22, 1943. His portrait hangs in the Haggin Museum in Stockton.
