Born in 1955, Miller was one of Cleveland's most productive artists. He studied at the Cooper School of Art in Cleveland before graduating in
1983 from the Cleveland Institute of art as a photography major.
He painted in a style which combined the sensual and bizarre, going from abstraction to figurative imagery in the 1980s. His dreamy agglomerations of cartoon-like creatures included men with crewcuts like the artist's own. Toward the end of his life, Miller painted images (showing 500 of 906 characters). |
