| A student of Harriet Frishmuth, Virginia Pollak was a sculptor of female nudes. She exhibited during the 1920s and 30s at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art, the Virginia Museum of Fine Art, and the Corcoran Gallery. In New York, she established a gallery for educating the blind through three-dimensional objects.
