Following are excerpts from the obituary of Ward Mann published in the Gloucester Daily Times (Massachusetts) on October 15, 2005.
"Ward P. Mann, 84, a well-known artist, died on Thursday, October 13,
2005, in Webster, New York after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Detroit on October 3, 1921, his interest in art blossomed as a
young man through classes at the Detroit Institute of Arts and the
Scarab Art Club. He later attended Cass Tech High (showing 500 of 2603 characters). |
