Wendell G. Montague was born and raised in Montpellier, Idaho. At an early age he moved to San Diego, California where he was a major contributor to the "California Style" watercolor movement of the latter 20th Century.
Montague served as President of both the San Diego Watercolor Society and the San Diego Art Institute. He was also an Artist member of Watercolor West. Montague earned his MA degree from Utah State University. While there he won his first 1st Place Award. He has been the r (showing 500 of 926 characters). |
