Baltimore-born artist Willard Midgette was associated with the second generation of contemporary American realist painters. He studied and later taught at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture; and also studied at Harvard College, earning a B.A. in 1959; at Boston University College of Fine Art; Pratt Institute; and Indiana University where he earned an M.F.A. in 1962.
He was an Associate Professor of Art at Reed College from 1963 to 1971, and then had a year's (showing 500 of 1444 characters). |
