| William Sherrod McCall was born in Ohio in 1897. McCall was a resident of Los Angeles in 1929-34 and Jacksonville. During the Depression he worked for the Works Progress Administration. By 1940 he was in Jacksonville, FL.
Exhibited: Los Angeles County Fair, 1929; Painters & Sculptors of Los Angeles, 1932; California Artists, California Palace of Legion of Honor (San Francisco), 1932; See Gallery (Los Angeles), 1934; San Francisco Art Ass’n, 1936.
