Yoshi Mizutani was born in Japan in 1969 and introduced to art at a very young age by his grandmother who is a traditional Japanese Sumi ink painter. He began painting in watercolor seriously by the age of 10. And at the age of 16, Yoshi was trained in basic drawing techniques and was introduced to oil painting.
Driven by a strong desire for further training in western realistic tradition, Yoshi left his home country at the age of 18. He studied from the old Masters in Spain and Fran (showing 500 of 2675 characters). |
