Alfred C. Needham was born in Beachville, Canada, January 28, 1871, the son of the late Rev. George C. and Elizabeth (Anable) Needham. His father was a well-known author, preacher and traveling evangelist and as a consequence Alfred was born in Canada while his father was on mission work. A.C. Needham died on October 6, 1952 in Manchester Massachusetts where is spent his adult life. He worked in Boston with his own business for 62 years as an importer of hides.
