Biography from J. Franklin Fine Art, Inc.:
| Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Arthur Niemeyer lived in Seattle, Washington from 1924 and had a studio in the Central Building in 1941. He was a painter in oils and a commercial artist. He studied with Renault and was a member of the Puget Sound Group of Northwest Painters, 1933.
He had a studio next to Eustace Paul Ziegler (1881-1969) in the Smith Tower at one point and his style and palette are very similar to Ziegler's.
