In the 1950s Crandall Norton was exhibiting watercolors on a national
level. From the beginning, he produced classic California Style
watercolors with bold composition and clean transparent colors.
His natural flair for handling large wet-into-wet washes also brought
him much attention.
Norton has received many awards for his watercolors, and in 1968,
presented a one-man show that toured 19 states. In addition, he
has taught at the Laguna Beach School of Art, (showing 500 of 813 characters). |
