This biography from the Archives of AskART:
| Edith Nagler (1895-1986) studied with Robert Henri, and owned a summer
home in Huntington Massachusetts on a lane now known as Nagler
Crossroad.
Her work is in museums in Hartford,
Connecticut and Springfield, Massachusetts where she lived in the
first part of her career, as well as in Houston museums where she later
settled with her artist husband Fred Nagler.

to Fred Nagler's great-niece Susan Nagler Beatty, Edith and Fred Nagler
settled in Dallas, not Houston, Texas, where their son makes his home
today. |
