Eugenia Nowlin (1908-2003)
She was born in San Luis Potosi Mexico to missionary parents. Nowlin was raised in Oklahoma and Texas and received her BA in Fine Arts from SMU in Dallas in 1929 and a Masters of Arts in 1939 at Texas State College for Women. In the 20s and 30s she taught art in Baytown Texas and Dallas Texas, and had a career exhibiting and selling her own art.
She Exhibited at the Dallas Allied Art Exhibit in 1935 (award), 1937, and 1938. She Exhibite (showing 500 of 1394 characters). |
