| | Born in New York on Jan. 28, 1904. Nugent studied at Pratt Institute. By the 1920s she had moved to Hollywood, CA and a graduate of UCLA and USC. For 40 years she taught at San Fernando State College and was a popular lecturer at local clubs. A spinster, she died in Los Angeles on Dec. 2, 1963. Member: Art Teachers Ass'n of So. Calif.
