| | Born in Slagelse, Denmark on Sept. 25, 1882. Nielsen immigrated to the U.S. with his family in 1885. He studied art in Chicago with Jean Mannheim and at the AIC. After settling in Pasadena in 1907, he established a studio in his home at 701 California Terrace. He worked as an interior decorator and taught at the Chouinard Art School in 1937-39. Nielsen died in Pasadena on April 5, 1952. Member: Calif. Art Club.
