| Born in St Louis, MO on March 28, 1890. Nicholson was a pupil of Tarbell, Richard Brooks, Lee Randolph, Ruth Ball, Bohnen and Loup in Lausanne. She was a resident of San Diego (1923) and Carmel, CA from the 1920s until her demise on Sept. 6, 1949.
