| | Born in St Petersburg, Russia on March 18, 1894. Nelidov moved to northern California in 1922. He lived in Berkeley, Sacramento, and El Cerrito while working as a structural engineer. His last employment was with Tudor Engineering Company in developing the Bay Area Rapid Transit. He died in San Pablo on March 6, 1968. A self-taught artist, in his leisure he painted portraits, figure studies, and still lifes in pastel, watercolor, and charcoal.
