Arkansas artist Kate Nessler paints scientifically accurate plant representations in watercolor on vellum.
Nessler attended Kendall College of Art and Design in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She worked as a commercial illustrator before working in fine art.
Kate Nessler was honored with gold medals from the Royal Horticultural Society in 1990, 1991 and 1993. She earned the Award of Excellence from the American Society of Botanical Artists in 1997.
