An impressionist oil painter working from a studio in Chester,
Connecticut, Leif Nilsson paints scenes from his Connecticut River
Valley surroundings including the village of Chester and his own
garden. He paints in the tradition of 19th-century landscape
painters, and some of his paintings reflect his travels in Europe, Asia
Minor and Scandinavia.
Nilsson was born in New London, (showing 500 of 1584 characters). |
