Len Nezin was born on June 19,1927 in Staten Island, N.Y. He spent his youth in Brighton Beach Brooklyn, New York, which is close to Coney Island. The beach and Coney Island inspire Len to paint what has become his signature subject, crowds of people on the beach, at football games and crowds of people everywhere.
His style is impressionistic except for his portraits, and he works mostly in oils and acrylics in his studio located on the waterfront in Freeport,New York.
