Born Kansas City, June 19, 1888 and died Tucson, AZ, Sept. 5, 1941, Louise Norton was a painter who specialized in flower studies, portraits, still lifes and landscapes. She grew up near Prescott, AZ but attended Central High School in Kansas City and graduated from the University of Missouri, Columbia in 1910.
She studied at the Kansas City Art Institute before returning to Tucson. She worked in Washington, DC during World War I and served for several years as an a (showing 500 of 747 characters). |
