Mabel Norman Cerio (1875, Newport, Rhode Island-November 12, 1949 New York, New York) was a painter noted for portraits. She studied at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. She was a member of both the Providence Art Club and the Newport Art Association. She traveled in Europe and regularly wintered in Capri. Works located at: Newport Art Museum: 1. Oil on canvas, "Portrait of Maude Howe Elliott" (ca. 1930's) (acc.# 2002.004.001)
