Born circa 1870, Minnie I Davis was the daughter of John Davis of Boston. Her artistic education is currently unknown but she is first found associated with Western Michigan College, Grand Rapids, Michigan, in 1893-94 as Principal of the Art Department.
Her specialty appeared to be watercolors.
On June 28, 1894 she married James Hervey Neeland, and the couple had two children. Her husband, initially trained as an engraver, eventually worked his way t (showing 500 of 1166 characters). |
