| Milton R. Newman was born in Illinois on April 25, 1891. During the years following World War One, Newman was active in Chicago and New York City. While on the Monterey Peninsula in 1921, he painted scenes of the area. He died in New York City in January 1979.
Exhibited: Art Institute of Chicago, 1912, 1918, 1921.
