Paul Nocquet was born in Belgium 1877, immigrated to the United States August 1903. He died April 5, 1906 and is buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Mt Kasco New York. His death occurred when he ascended from the Bronx, New York bound for Philadelphia in a hot air balloon, landed at Jones Beach, Amityville, and died trying to find help.
He had achieved distinction as an artist, sculptor, writer and aeronaut in Belgium, France and America. He also was a member of the Aero Club of New York. (showing 500 of 1654 characters). |
