This biography from the Archives of AskART:
The following, submitted January 2005, is from the artist.

Philip Nadelman lives and works in Riverdale in the Bronx, New York, the same city his grandfather, artist Elie Nadelman lived and worked fifty years ago. Nadelman is known for his styles of drawing and he also paints as well. His drawings, pastels, photo-copy collages and digital images have been exhibited in Manhattan galleries, and at The 7th Annual Boston International Fine Art Show, 2003 at the Boston Center for the Arts.

Nadelman has exhibited in group shows with artists such as Louise Nevelson, Josef Albers, Beverly Pepper, Dennis Oppenheim, Hunt Slonem and more. He was discovered by Ronny Cohen, a private art dealer, writer, and scholar, who has since included Nadelman's artwork in three group exhibitions.

Nadelman studied at The Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. and later at the Art Students League in New York with Robert Beverly Hale. He is the son of an American Diplomat for the U.S. State Department. He grew up traveling the world, living in such diverse places as Poland, Germany, and Liberia.
