The following is from Harriet K. Simons. She and her husband, Adam, are collectors of Native American art of the Southwest, and know personally most of the artists represented in their collection.
Raymond Naha left this world in 1974. He was from Polacca, which is at the foot of First Mesa, on the Hopi Reservation in Arizona. He was best known for his wonderful paintings of Katsinim (Kachinas) in true settings as they appear in the villages of the Hopi. His grandson, also Raymond Naha, i (showing 500 of 1404 characters). |
