| A member of the Shoshoni/Paiute Indian tribes, Stan Natchez is a painter, writer, dancer and teacher. He grew up in the Los Angeles area with the cultural and philosophical influence of urban living and with an intellectual family atmosphere where his father, a scholar, wrote a book on the connections between Jungain and Native American symbolism.
