Vincent Nesbert (1898-1976)
Born in Poland in 1898, he emigrated to the US in 1914. He studied at the Carnegie Institute of Technology and the National Academy of Design 1920-1921. Upon graduation from the National Academy of Design he received the Joseph Pulitzer Prize for a year study abroad.
Vincent Nesbert joined the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in August, 1928. He later served as dean of the Art Institute for many years.
He exhibited in the 1922-1927, (showing 500 of 950 characters). |
