Born Aaron Isaac Orentlicherman in the Ukrainian town of Proskurov, he changed his name as an artist to Henri Oren and came to the United States with family members at the age of eight. He was raised in Meriden, Connecticut, and took lessons from a local artist, Charlotte Lilla Yal (showing 500 of 2887 characters). |
