| | Born in Vienna, Austria on Dec. 6, 1902. Odorfer studied in Vienna at the Wienerberger Werkstaetten Schule. He worked as a wheel potter for several years in Brazil and Mexico before moving to Fresno, CA in 1936. For 20 years he taught ceramics at Fresno State College. His work is rooted in Mexican and pre-Columbian art. Odorfer died in Fresno on April 29, 1995. Exh: Syracuse Museum, 1937-58; GGIE, 1940; Scripps College, 1949; LA Co.
