Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Aimee Ortlip was a painter of landscapes and still lifes. In her later years was, along with her husband, artist H. Willard Ortlip, she became an art educator as Associate Professor of Art at Houghton College, New York. The couple were instrumental in building the art department of that institution.
She lived in Houghton, New York and Fort Lee, New Jersey and she and her husband raised seven children. For many years she helped her husband's career, focus (showing 500 of 1258 characters). |
