| | Born in New York on Aug. 21, 1873. Osborne was active in the San Francisco art scene from 1894 while studying at the Mark Hopkins Art Institute. After the earthquake of 1906, she moved across the bay to Piedmont. While working as a church secretary, in her leisure she painted miniatures and landscapes of the oaks around Piedmont. A spinster, she died in a rest home in Menlo Park, CA on Sept. 12, 1964.
