| Bernard Olshan's exhibitions include the Whitney Museum, the Dallas Museum of Art, the University of Miami and Hofstra University . His one man exhibitions include the Ward Eggleston Galleries in New York, the Bronx Museum and New York Community College.
Olshan's many honors include a mural commission for Theodore Roosevelt High School and the First Prize Emily Lowe Award, the Andrew Carnegie Prize and the Phillips Award by the National Academy of Design.
Olshan served as president of the American Society of Contemporary Artists from 1987 to 1994. The artist was elected Academician to the National Academy in 1997. He is currently (2004) on the faculty of the National Academy.
