| | Born in Oakley, ID on Nov. 13, 1914. Openshaw moved to Orcutt, CA in 1922. He studied art with the Breneisers in Santa Maria and with Millard Sheets. He died in Santa Maria on Sept. 13, 1978. His work includes etchings, watercolors, oils, and block prints.
