Carl Victor Olsen (1893 - )
Born in Vannas, Sweden in 1893, Carl Olsen entered the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1918. He studied academics for three years then was assistant teacher to Frederick Poole in his Still Life Class for three years.
He was a member of the All-Illinois Society of the Fine Arts; Illinois Academy of Fine Arts; S.A.A.S.; C.B.M.A.C.; and the Swedish Art Society. Olsen painted portraits of staff members a (showing 500 of 831 characters). |
