| Born in Los Angeles, CA on March 26, 1883. The Osborne family settled in Los Angeles County in 1875. Edith graduated from Stanford in 1907 and then continued her studies at the ASL of Los Angeles while sharing a studio with Mary Gay in the Walker Bldg. During 1910-13 she taught art at the Marlborough School there. In 1914 she wed civil engineer Samuel Stahl. During the 1920s and 1930s she was active in the local art colonies of Palos Verdes and Eagle Rock. Mrs. Stahl died in Pomona, CA on (showing 500 of 840 characters). |
