EUGENIE MCEVOY ODELL ALDRICH was born in France in 1879 and died in Woodstock, New York in 1975 at 95 years of age. She had a full life as a painter and sharpshooter (she was called the Annie Oakley of France, and was hired by the Canadian government to train their Mounted Police in the art of sharpshooting.) Eugenie often stated that she was a better shot than Oakley because Oakley used a small shell with a few buckshot, whereas Eugenie always used th (showing 500 of 1249 characters). |
