| Helen I. Ortley was born in Oakland, CA on July 2, 1899. Helen married Philip B. Ortley in 1927 and had a home in Tuolumne County. She spent her last 25 years on the Monterey Peninsula. She died in Carmel, CA on Oct. 12, 1986.
