Born in Dayton, Ohio, Jeff Otis is a landscape painter living in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He spent much of his childhood in Europe where he toured many museums with his family. He attended the University of New Mexico as an anthropology student and then earned a graduate degree in mathematics. For seventeen years, he worked as a statistical analyst and painted as a sidelight.
In the late 1980s, he took a workshop from Michael Lynch and now for several years has been painting full time.(showing 500 of 2101 characters). |
